We are seeking a Director, Revenue, Sales & Marketing to oversee a team of 7 who support the revenue management, sales and marketing activities of our managed and owned hotels. Reporting into the Senior Vice President, Resort Operations, this role will be responsible for achieving and exceeding where possible the revenue targets as budgeted for each property. 

This position will also be responsible for the following;
  • Pro-actively manage business into each of the properties (with a primary emphasis on rooms, revenue, and secondary emphasis on F&B and other revenue and seek ways to constantly improve financial performance & guest satisfaction at each of the properties.
  • Develop, maintain and amend accordingly the dynamic pricing modules for each property to ensure effective yield management at each property.
  • Timely and accurate completion of all sales and marketing budgets in the required format and accompanied with the appropriate analysis as required by Senior Vice President.
  • Compilation of annual sales and marketing plans for each property with ongoing review of monthly working documents to ensure required levels of productivity and results are achieved for each property.
  • Oversee the Revenue and Distribution Team to provide training guidance and support to the onsite Resort Operations Team in relation to effective yield system operation.
  • Develop and maintain ongoing strategies in line with revenue budgets to ensure revenue targets are met and exceeded where possible.
Our ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate the following skills:
  • Experience in a similar role i.e. Area Sales/Marketing Yield Manager responsibility of more than 1 hotel or business unit
  • Proven achievement of rooms revenue goals & growth
  • Established contacts/relationships with key industry players e.g. inbound & domestic wholesalers PCO’s
  • Ability to initiate & implement S&M strategies including those required for short term pick-up
  • Ability to work with other divisions & managers within the company
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally & in writing – strategies and results as required to Senior Management
  • Ability to effectively manage staff and ensure a cohesive approach to selling all group hotels
